Many families have been affected including our colleagues in National Express Germany. At the time of writing, the death toll has reached over 200 in total. These numbers are likely to increase as days pass by. Many also have significant property damage to houses, apartments and household belongings, some have even completely lost their home. Locally, our German Team have been providing tremendous support to the aid mission, travelling to the flooded areas in their spare time to help clean up.  Additionally, donations are collected, staff are extending their services as a matter of course, car pools are formed to help stranded colleagues, vehicles are transferred - sometimes with long journeys, to make the start of the services easier plus much more.

In these difficult times, the Lichtblicke campaign is working hard to help affected families who are into an existentially threatening situation due to the storm and are quickly dependent on financial support.
