Help ISTO support a brighter future

With our participation in the Munich marathon we wish to increase awareness on the struggles people fleeing their homelands face in search for safety and demonstrate our solidarity. In particular, we aim to raise funds to help children build the basis for a brighter future. Half of the 60 million estimated refugees are younger than 18 years and carry deep scars from the experiences made during war or flight. Those that are separated from family and loved ones are especially vulnerable. All are plagued by insecurity about their future. These children are in desperate need of education, language assistance and integration. ‘Kick ins Leben’ supports children in risky environments and refugees by accompanying them from preschool until their career start. Around Christmas, the foundation organizes learning camps, which include language lessons and football activities. The educational concept has been developed in cooperation with a fellow LMU chair.
